Public Nursing Services
Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH). You or your physician can contact the central intake office to arrange nursing support. There are various levels of coverage through MSP. Registered nurses will do home visits on Bowen. 604-983-6740
Community Health Nurse will visit post-partum clients for up to 6 months.
Public Health Nurse is on call from Monday to Friday for issues with children aged 0-5 and that number is 604-983-6754.

North Vancouver Urgent and Primary Care Centre (UPCC)
If you don’t have access to a primary care physician or Nurse Practitioner you can access primary care support here. The UPCC is not intended to replace family doctors or care providers as a person’s first point of contact for health concerns, nor will it replace Emergency Departments for life-threatening illnesses or injuries. Rather, it is intended to be an additional service in the community, working in conjunction with all touch points for care to provide appropriate urgent services to patients, when and where they need it.
