Caring Circle has a newly opened Resource Centre with helpful staff and a myriad of Health Care information – located in the heritage cottage behind the library, on beautiful Bowen Island
The Caring Circle Health Resource Centre was established by a group of health professionals and concerned Bowen Islanders to assist people of all ages living on Bowen Island to obtain the health care support required for them to live with a sense of well-being and safety in their homes as long as they choose.
One-Day Workshop to Support Families Dealing with Serious Mental Illness
Presented by the North Shore Schizophrenia Society, this one-day workshop is designed for families who have a relative (a son, daughter, spouse, or parent) coping with mental illness. The workshop will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2014 – 10:30am to 2:30pm on Bowen Island (see more information here.)
