Youth Resiliency Fund

This fund provides up to 5 appointments with a counsellor for youth between the ages of 15 and 29 who reside on Bowen Island. These funds are available to individuals whose lives and opportunities are being compromised as a result of one or more of a number of factors including but not limited to substance use, difficulties with mental health, depression and anxiety, and family conflicts.

Referral to Vancouver Coastal Programs
This service is designed around the specific needs of children and youth providing comprehensive outpatient assessment, treatment and consultation services to pre-school, elementary and secondary school children with behavioural, social and emotional difficulties. Families can self refer or may be referred by a physician.

Spotlight on Mental Health is a consumer-led mental health awareness and education website at Vancouver Coastal Health. It includes mental health articles, educational resources, and information about the consumer initiative fund.

Folkstone Care
This is an organization that provides respite and long term placements for people diagnosed with dementia, alzheimers, or any other complex needs.
