Categories: UncategorizedAuthor:

On July 13th, Kevin Manning of First Credit Union proudly presented Colleen O’Neil of Caring Circle with a cheque for $2768.70 for youth mental health on Bowen. This was part of the mental health week earlier in the year and the First Credit Union team topped up the $2500 donation with proceeds from a week long bake sale. It was presented with thanks to Colleen and her team and all they do for the health of the community. A big thank you also to the First Credit team and all the members who contributed.

Last call for registrants for this conference focusing on various issues around pain. Deadline to register is this Friday Nov. 10th so please spread the word to anyone you know who might be interested. We have 13 registrants at this time so we will most likely change the venue from Bowen Lodge to a smaller space. But we will contact you when we’ve secured a smaller space. Call Caring Circle at 947-9100 or to register.

Blood Clinic at Gleneagles Community Centre – Wednesday May 24th

May 24th, Wednesday at Gleneagles Community Centre

OK TIME to CALL ME! Surely we can come up with 15 people who want to give blood on May 24th? We can all walk on the ferry and they will send a shuttle bus for us in take us to Gleneagles and then it looks like Brian Biddlecombe will donate the time and gas to bring us all home after we donate!! But this won’t happen if we only have a few people and after I mentioned this last week, I only had two people say they would like to go over. The best time for Brian is if we go over on the 1230 ferry and he’ll bring us back around 2:30 / 3 p.m. depending on how fast we all bleed :) Call Caring Circle at 947-9100 or email at info@caringcircle.cad it.
